COURTNEY MORAN, LL.M.

Our Team

Founding Principal of EARTH Law, LLC

Chief Legislative Strategist for Agricultural Hemp Solutions, LLC

Courtney expertly champions legal policy for hemp agribusiness and development, with an impressive track record for meaningful results.

Courtney worked closely with the offices of Senator Ron Wyden and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Washington, D.C. to draft the Hemp Farming Act of 2018 (S. 2667), and negotiate language included in the 2018 Farm Bill, The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, both of which led to the federal legalization of hemp.

Courtney continues to work hard to dispel misinformation and spread awareness about the exceptional benefits and untapped potential of hemp as an American produced crop. Agricultural and farm workers in America deserve access to the affordable, versatile, and sustainable crop that is hemp, without the outdated restrictions and red tape.
