The Agricultural Act of 2018 Update

The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 (otherwise known as the Farm Bill) section by section text you can find HERE.

Mark up for the bill is next week and we fully expect Senator McConnell will offer an amendment in the committee; following the process. We will keep you updated.

Currently Section 12608 references hemp by conforming changes to the Controlled Substance Act. This next week will be an exciting time for hemp around the country and hopefully will solidify state programs and clearly define hemp as a crop and a commodity. Please do not wait to take action and contact your legislators today!
